What Lofi Helper does
Lofi Helper is a private bot used only in approved Discord communities. Its functions include moderation, FAQ-channel assistance, support tickets, and checking Discord roles to determine available features.
Data we use
To provide these functions, Lofi Helper processes the following Discord data:
- Message content: read in real time to moderate conversations, respond to frequently asked questions, and operate support tickets. It is not stored off Discord, except as part of a closed support ticket (see below).
- Guild members: Discord user IDs and role information needed to determine available features.
- Support-ticket data: the messages and user IDs of the people involved in a ticket.
What we store
When a support ticket is closed or archived, its message log and the associated user IDs are saved in a secure database off Discord. This creates a record of completed support and helps us improve the service. We also store Discord user IDs used to determine which features are available to you. We do not store any other Discord data off Discord.
How we use it
We use this data solely to operate and improve Lofi Helper: to moderate where configured, answer FAQs, run support tickets, provide role-based features, keep records of closed support matters, and improve the support experience. We do not sell data or use it for advertising or marketing.
Retention and deletion
Closed-ticket logs and the associated user IDs are retained indefinitely for record keeping and service improvement. User IDs used to determine available features are retained for as long as needed to provide those features. In either case, we will delete the data if you ask us to or if we are otherwise required to, and we will action valid deletion requests as promptly as possible.
To request deletion of your stored data, join our support server and open a support ticket marked Privacy Request. Include your Discord user ID so we can find the relevant records. Deletion applies only to Lofi Helper's own records; Discord manages data it holds under its own policies.
Sharing and security
Access to stored data is limited to people who need it to operate and support Lofi Helper. We do not share it with unrelated third parties. We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect stored information from unauthorized access, loss, or misuse.
Changes and contact
We may update this policy when the bot or its data practices change. The latest version will be posted on this page. For any privacy question, please join our support server and open a support ticket.
